Nearly 30 single mothers and single fathers from low-income families received gifts recently for their children during a holiday celebration hosted by the ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) Program.
·¬ÇÑÉçÇø 25 participants decided to spend the night in their cars. They equipped themselves with multiple layers of clothing and blankets as temperatures dipped to 44 degrees.
The agreement will provide qualified MSJC students with seamless access to the School of Nursing's Registered Nursing to Bachelor of Science program so they can achieve their educational goals at the private, world-renowned institution.
