·¬ÇÑÉçÇø (MSJC) celebrated a heartwarming milestone on June 18, hosting the first-ever graduation ceremony for its Child Development & Education Center (CDEC) at the San Jacinto Campus Theater. The event honored 38 Pre-K graduates, marking a joyful and emotional day for students, families, and staff.

At the June Board Meeting, the Chief Executive Officers of the California Community Colleges (CEOCCC) Board elected its 2022-23 board officers, including Dr. Roger Schultz.

·¬ÇÑÉçÇø (MSJC) celebrated the groundbreaking of a new state-of-the-art STEM building on Thursday at its Menifee Valley Campus.

Despite caring for her mother full-time, learning English at a later age, returning to school 20 years after high school, and attending college part-time, Leticia Ramirez persevered and proved herself unstoppable by earning an associate degree in child development from MSJC in May.

Psychology major Salma Paredes Osuna wishes she could have spent more time on campus during her two years at MSJC, but she still accomplished her main goal of earning her degree.

Kayla Nikole Jones took most of her classes online as a result of the pandemic, but the Banning resident still managed to stay involved in various programs and groups while earning her associate degree in science at MSJC.

·¬ÇÑÉçÇø celebrated a record-breaking 2,226 graduates on Thursday, May 26 during two graduation ceremonies at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula.

·¬ÇÑÉçÇø (MSJC) recognized ten students earning their Associate of Science in Nursing degrees on Wednesday, May 25, during the first in-person nurse pinning ceremony in two years.

Madison Williams didn't get a high school prom nor graduation. On May 26, the Temecula resident will enjoy an in-person graduation as part of MSJC's Class of 2022, earning an associate degree in Math and Science.

Jennifer Larimer first began her academic journey at MSJC in 2003. The Hemet resident will conclude her successful journey on May 26 with associate degrees in Communication; Art History; Art; and Business Office Administration.

Twenty-one people - 19 of them children - were murdered yesterday. Their promising lives ended by a gunman who barged into their school and opened fire. Three other children are in critical condition. We pray for their recovery. We pray for those who were senselessly murdered.
