·¬ÇÑÉçÇø (MSJC) celebrated a heartwarming milestone on June 18, hosting the first-ever graduation ceremony for its Child Development & Education Center (CDEC) at the San Jacinto Campus Theater. The event honored 38 Pre-K graduates, marking a joyful and emotional day for students, families, and staff.

MSJC welcomed the public to its inaugural National Apprenticeship Week and Apprenticeship Connection Summit in November. Jessica Pitt, the Assistant Deputy Secretary of Healthcare Workforce with the California Labor & Workforce Development, served as keynote speaker at a summit held at the Temecula Valley Campus.

The MSJC First Year Experience Program hosted the National First-Generation College Celebration Day at the San Jacinto Campus. Students had the opportunity to network, gain inspiration from remarkable speakers, take part in an interactive student panel, and even try their luck in a raffle! This in-person gathering aimed to recognize and offer support to first-generation college students.

November 9, 2023 - ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø (MSJC) invites the public to its inaugural National Apprenticeship Week and Apprenticeship Connection Summit November 13 - 17. MSJC is honored to welcome Jessica Pitt, the Assistant Deputy Secretary of Healthcare Workforce with the California Labor & Workforce Development, who will be the keynote speaker at the summit. The week also offers workshops, trade fairs and recruitment events for those interested in earn-while-you-learn apprenticeship programs that train participants for good-paying careers. All events are free and open to the public.

Calvin L. Smith was appointed on Monday, October 30, 2023, by the ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø Board of Trustees to fill the Trustee Area 2 vacancy. Trustee Area 2, which takes in San Jacinto, Hemet, and surrounding communities, is one of five trustee areas for ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø. Trustee Smith resides in San Jacinto.

MSJC hosted a series of events in honor of Latinx Heritage Month from September 15 through October 15, 2023.

MSJC kicked off Pride Month with the 5th Annual Drag Show on October 2, 2023.

There was self-love, self-care, and healing on Saturday, October 14, as the MSJC Dance Department hosted The Source Festival on the San Jacinto Campus.

Students interested in transferring to a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) had the opportunity find all the information they need at an HBCU Fall Caravan Tour stop at ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø (MSJC) on Monday, October 23.

MSJC kicked off Undocumented Student Action Week with an opening celebration at the San Jacinto Campus.
